Life can be hard sometimes and my clients often tell me that they have so much going on in their lives that they're struggling to manage their emotions. Many of my clients identify themselves as being helpers, healers, caregivers, entrepreneurs, advocates, rescuers and empaths and are having a hard time finding balance in their lives. Individuals refer themselves for psychological assessments when there are concerns about:
- Specific queries about developmental or mental health problems (e.g. depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, trauma, or substance use)
- Feelings of distress, low motivation, sadness, anxiety, poor self-concept, or difficulty with friendships
- Difficulty with attention and/or behavior at home, school, or work
- Deciding post-secondary options, careers, a change in career, or return to work after an accident or injury
